Designed for beginners and intermediates, this class exposes students to a variety of clay-working techniques and to an array of functional and sculptural pottery forms. Those who are new to clay gain a strong foundation through traditional forming techniques such as pinch, coil and slab construction. Experienced students may propose independent projects in hand-building suited to their interests.
