ARTS 360-52: Basic Woodturning

Develop an appreciation of the wood lathe and wood turning skills. Instruction includes turning between two centers for candle holders, goblets or chair legs and faceplate turning for bowls, platters or boxes. This class will cover, safe lathe operation, tool sharpening, sanding and finishing techniques. Participants should complete 2-4 basic projects during this class.
