Students learn about wood as a medium to express their designs. Topics will include the safe use of radial saw, jointer, planer, table saw, band saw, drill press, horizontal boring machine and router. Other topics will include: milling techniques, mortise and tenor joinery, surface preparation and the introduction to finishing procedures.
